About Me
I am Praveen Kumar, a creative professional specializing in Production Design, Interior Design, and Event Décor, with a strong focus on designing immersive, story-driven spaces. My career began with hands-on experience in set design, construction, and planning, where a deep understanding of space and structure shaped my creative approach.
This foundation naturally led me into the film industry’s art department, where I discovered a passion for visual storytelling. Working across commercials, films, and web series allowed me to explore diverse visual languages and translate concepts into compelling, functional environments that support narrative and performance.
My expertise spans concept visualization, sketching, painting, 2D and 3D design tools, construction techniques, color theory, space planning, and project management. These skills enable clear communication across departments and ensure seamless execution from initial concept to final delivery.
My journey from low-budget commercials to large-scale film and OTT projects has been driven by consistency, adaptability, and creative discipline. The trust and encouragement of directors, producers, and collaborators have been instrumental in refining my design sensibility and strengthening my professional growth.
Outside of work, I engage with creativity through photography, travel, and adventure sports, experiences that continually influence my design perspective.
